One of the most graceful of oaks with slender leaves like a willow. Foliage turns yellow to russet red in fall and persists in mild southern winters. Dense pyramidal growth becomes rounded at maturity, making this ideal for quick shade. Faster growing and easier to transplant than other oaks.
